Andere fahren mit dem Fahrrad durch die H\u00fcgel, besuchen kleine D\u00f6rfer mit Steinkirchen, Brunnen und einfachen Trattorien.<\/p><p>Zum Mittag kehrt man gern zur\u00fcck \u2013 mit frischer Focaccia, etwas K\u00e4se, einem Bund Basilikum. Man schneidet, man kostet, man prostet sich zu. Alles spielt sich auf der eigenen Terrasse ab, mit Tellern auf dem k\u00fchlen Marmortisch und einem leichten Sommerwind, der durch die bunten Vorh\u00e4nge streicht.<\/p><p>Der Nachmittag geh\u00f6rt der Stille.<\/p><p>Ein Buch, ein Nickerchen, ein Spaziergang durch die Olivenhaine. Die Luft duftet nach wildem Thymian, und die Zeit dehnt sich. Es gibt keine Ger\u00e4usche, nur die Zikaden \u2013 oder den eigenen Atem.<\/p><p>Dann kommt der Sonnenuntergang.<\/p><p>Die H\u00fcgel werden golden, lange, weiche Schatten legen sich auf das Land, und das Relais bereitet sich auf den Abend vor. Die G\u00e4ste kochen mit Ruhe, \u00f6ffnen eine Flasche gek\u00fchlten Pigato und essen bei Kerzenlicht auf ihrer Terrasse, w\u00e4hrend die ersten Sterne erscheinen.<\/p><p>Im San Damian bedeutet echter Luxus:<\/p><p>Eigener Raum.<\/p><p>Eigener Rhythmus.<\/p><p>Und eine Sch\u00f6nheit, so still und nat\u00fcrlich \u2013 sie wirkt fast wie ein
